Data Protection information

  1. Introduction

This website provides information on the Iron Curtain Cycling (ICC) project that is implemented by the support of Interreg V-A Slovenia–Hungary Cross-border Cooperation Program 2014-2020 and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Our goal is to keep this information timely and accurate at all times. If errors occur and are brought to our attention, we will correct them as quick as possible.

Zala County Government performs its tasks and functions according to the legal regulations and handles the personal data confidentially, performs all the safety, technical  and organizational measures which guarantee the safety of the data, for respecting the clients’ right to self-determination related to the information.  

Legal bases:

-       Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (General Data Protection Regulation);

-       Act CXII of 2011 on the Right of Informational Self-Determination and on Freedom of Information ("Privacy Act")

The Bureau acts according to the regulations stated by law and the local decrees concerning the personal data handled by icc.zala.hu website as for the aim, legal ground and period of data handling. 

 

  1. Information on data security measures

The personal data displayed on the website referred to in this disclosure of information are stored on the servers operated by Zalaszám Informatika Kft. 

The Bureau and Zalaszám Informatika Kft. protect the website from information safety- or data protection incidents by applying physical, administrative and logical safety measures. Therefore Zalaszám Informatika Kft. registers the accessing to the personal data stored on the servers, thus they can follow up what data has been accessed by whom and when.

In case of a data protection incident the Bureau reports it to the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information without an unwarranted delay after being informed about it, but within 72 hours if possible, except for the incident which doesn’t mean a risk for the rights and freedom of the natural persons, according to § 33 (1) of the general data protection regulation.

To make the site work properly, the system places small data files called cookies on your device. The cookies aimes at improving the pleasure of browsing, assuring a personalized service. The cookie can be deleted from your device. 

  1. Rights of the persons concerned

The persons concerned are entitled to the following rights: – right to information – right to correction – right to cancellation

– right to sequestration – right to objection

 

The way of exercising the rights of the person concerned: The natural person concerned can turn to the Bureau for exercising his/her rights in a written form (by sending a letter to the Bureau or through the client gateway).

 

  1. Enforcement opportunities on data handling:

According to the general data protection regulation and the privacy act anybody can initiate an examination if an encroachment on his/her rights or its immediate danger comes up related to the  personal data handling, by reporting to the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.

In case of an actionable injury related to personal data handling one can go to the law. The natural person concerned can take legal procceedings which will be judged by Zalaegerszeg Court of Justice. The proceedings can be initiated even at the court of justice having jurisdiction over his/her domicile or place of abode depending on the concerned person’s decision.
