Presentation of Lendava and the Iron Curtain Cycling project at the Utazás - Travel fair

BUDAPEST: From February 21-24, an international tourism fair Utazás - Travel was held at the Hungexpo Exhibition Center in Budapest. At the fair 30 countries were presented at more than 300 exhibition stands, including Lendava.

PROMOTION OF LENDAVE

The purpose of the promotion was the presentation and promotion of the wine-tourist road with the Vinarium tower, the exhibition of world giants in the Lendava castle, theatrical and concert halls, and the presentation of the possibilities for active tourism.  An important part of the presentation was also the promotion of tourism in the vineyards with Vinarium Hotel.

The interest of the visitors of the fair was also attracted by the traditional culinary events of the Vinarium Festival and the offer and tasting of local wines of the tourist farm Huzimec.

BICYCLE TOURISM

At the fair, the Municipality of Lendava also presented the Iron Curtain Cycling project, implemented in the Interreg Slovenia - Hungary operational Program. In the project, the municipality encourages the development of cycling tourism. This fair was a great opportunity to present the first results of the project, which will be completed next year.
