Gipsy village, Kamenci

In 2003 the first Roma Museum of Slovenia was opened in Kamenci, which is part of the efforts of the Kamenci Roma Community to preserve gipsy history. The museum collected the valuables that the first gipsy settlers of Komenci had . The visitors can learn about the life of the early life of the gipsies. In the exhibition of the traditional Romanian jobs the visitors get familiar with the history of the Romanian settlement of Kamenici, its legends and cultural activities that were passed from generation to generation.
