Three-state border point

The border stone was placed in 1922, after the Trianon treaty at the end of the First World War, right at the meeting point of the three borders. The truncated pyramid column based on a circulated base includes the bends of the three countries and the date of the ratification of the Trianon treaty. The stone is 215 cm high and 173 wide at its base. After the Second World War it was impossible to visit it as it was a part of the Iron Curtain, until 27 May 1989 when it was re-opened to the public. It is a popular touristic destination since then. There are annual meetings of the three nations at the border point.
